Sept. 10-11

Annual Italian Festival, Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Philadelphia. Inaugural concert Sept. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. in parking lot with refreshments and games of chance. Mass at 11 a.m. Sept. 11 followed by Procession of Saints. Festival 12:30 to 7 p.m., food, rides, entertainment by bands Civic Minded Fools and Nothing to Prove. Wristbands for rides /children $10 if purchased in advance, $15 on Sept. 11. Volunteers needed to sell wristbands. Contact tonyvolpe22@hotmail.com

Sept. 23-25

The 17th Annual Mercer County Italian American Festival, West Windsor, N.J. Admission: adults, $5; 65 and older, $4; 12 and younger, free. Convenient free parking on-site. Enter through Mercer County Park entrances on Hughes Drive or Old Trenton Road. Handicapped parking is available by using the South Post Road entrance to Mercer County Park. Sept. 25

Padre Pio Festival, Vineland, N.J. Area business owners are invited to sponsor a booth. Donations for this begin at $100. Contact Gracie Hoffner at (856) 213-6748 or the rectory with information. Festival begins at 11am.

Oct. 2

Annual Italian Festival and Procession of Saints, noon to 9 p.m., St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish in South Philadelphia. It all happens on the 1700 block and beyond of South Ninth Street. Free parking in the Neumann-Goretti High School lot at 10th and Moore streets.

Oct. 9

The Da Vinci Society of Delaware will hold its 13th annual Vendemmia celebrating the tradition of the Italian Grape Harvest. The event takes place at the Bellevue State Park right off the I-95 Marsh Road exit just below the Pennsylvania/Delaware state line. The celebration includes classical and contemporary music, restaurant specialties from 25 area restaurants, professional entertainment and more.
